Mitra Saving and Credit Co-operative ltd. has concluded its 8th Annual General Meeting on Poush 12, 2076 at Taudaha Banquet and Restaurant, Taudaha, Kirtipur (video here).
Held under the chairmanship of President Santosh Chhetri, Chief Guest, Mr. PukarMaharjan (Member of Provincial Assembly of Province No.3 Kathmandu10(A), Mohan Basnet ( Mayor DakshinkaliMuncipality), BasantiDangolTamang( Deputy Mayor DakshinkaliMuncipality), Jay ThapaMagar ( ward President-1 of DakshinkaliMuncipality) and many other from different organizations. The AGM decided to provide 15% bonus to the shareholders. The Mitra Saving and Credit Co-operative ltd. booked a net profit of NRs. 1,156,203 for the fiscal year 2075/76. During fiscal year 2075/76, the capital of Mitra Saving and Credit Co-operative ltd reached NRs 7,162,100, savings in cooperative accounts reached NRs 59,626,848; and loan investment reached NRs 52,071,462. Mitra started with 25 founding shareholder members and currently after 8 years, Mitra is serving its 2,295 members with a greater success. Mitra has been continuously providing microcredit, savings services, training and skill development, small business creation and other needs to community.
On the occasion of AGM, Mitra also launched its website to give information about its activities and financial packages to all the members and all the people of Dakshinkali region. It is the first website launched by any co-operative in Dakshinkali Municipality.
